Mel B had a birthday this week and we've got tons of pictures and a few movies of the wonderful event. Besides the B-day, we have lots of kid picture and RHUBARB!!! Also, everyone seems to be healthy again.

Ahhhhhchooooo,
Short comment this week. We're all sick and feeling like crap. We all have a wicked cold and Aspen, Sela, and myself have ear infections on the side. So we did nothing all week and still feel pretty crappy. Aspen seems to be in the best shape followed by Superstar Mel B then Sela and I. I blame last week's lobster even though I didn't eat any.

We spent this week preapring for the yard sale on Saturday. Besides that we have the zoo and finally LOBSTER!!!! As Superstar Mel B just said to me "that's all folks!"

Hi All,
Well, we have some pictures and movies of our NEW BACKYARD DECK!!! We are very excited about it and we've been eating cookies so we're full of sugar which makes us even more excited. Also Sela decides to giggle for us. YAY! Enjoy the moments and we'll chat again next week.

Happy Victoria's Day Weekend,
Traditionally this weekend marks the start of the real spring in Calgary. Some go camping, some plant garden some go golfing. But everyone realizes the weather could change any minute because almost every year it SNOWS on the long weekend. And last night...SNOW. 23 C yesterday to 3 C today. Ahhh spring in Alberta. Anyways we got some good stuff this week.

It's me Superstar Mel B. Well it's been 3 months since Sela joined us and things are actually falling into a routine around here. Can you believe it? We had a pretty quiet week, being lazy around the house, Aspen getting her hair cut like Mama's, Darren being sick, going to a birthday party and me...well just hanging in there too. Enjoy the weekly photos and movies and we will catch you all next week.

It was bunny day today so we have a gigantic movie of Aspen easter eggs hunting. We seem to have a lot of stuff this week so pace yourself and enjoy the show.

Ok,
Sela had three (vaccination) needles this week, Aspen was sick and Mel and I aren't far behind. Aspen had a stomach thing so there are few pictures and movies for you to stare at. So now we're going to bath a baby, get a sick little girl to bed and then go to grocery store... hopefully we'll be done before 10pm when we turn into pumpkins and fall down.

Well, it's our first full week without a grandparent in the house and the number of pictures and movies prove that. Generally, everone is doing well and we are looking for ward to getting live back to "normal" (whatever that may be).

Yawn, welcome to week 7. We're have a good time with Sela and Aspen though the nights are getting longer and longer. Sela has decided that sleep at night is a ridiculous idea. What were we thinking!

We had a few days of quiet then the Grammie and Grampy Ritalin showed up. Let the non stop playing begin! At 5 weeks, Sela is starting to notice us more and more. She seems to be starting to smile at us though some of the smiles are still wishful thinking .

Hi All,
Well, Meme left us this week to go back home to see Pepe. We were all very sad to see her go...especially Aspen. Sela is now one month old and continues to do well. The household is starting to get back to normal. Of course, that will change again when Grammy and Grampie Ritalin show up this week.

We've had a good week as Sela trains us in what she likes and what is acceptable to her...much like Aspen 4 years ago.
We been playing and working and generally having a good time though very tiring. The lack on "good" sleep is catching up with us but we're still getting a reasonable amount for sleep (Mel may disagree with my last comment).

Sela is sleep well and feeding is getting more and more routine.

Hi Folks,
A week has gone by and we're starting to get use to the lack of sleep ans the change in routines. Everyone is doing well. Superstar Mels B's mom (Meme) arrived on Thursday night and Aspen has been running her around the house ever since.

Sela is a very good baby and we are getting 3 hours between night feeding. Not too shabby for the first week.

Oh, don't get me wrong, we're sleep deprived but it be a lot worse.
Thanks to everyone who sent well wishes, email and called to congratuate us on baby Sela.

Ok,
On Saturday morning at 9:00AM Superstar Mel B woke up, ate breakfast and informed Aspen and me that she was gonna have the baby...soon.

So...we both had a shower (not together!), dropped off Aspen at the Fox's and took a little drive to the hospital. We arrived at 11:00AM. We had it pretty good till about 1:30PM when Melissa's water broke. Then the party started.

Melissa asking for drugs (sorry too late!), nurses worrying about Mel deliverying in the hallway and finally not being able to find the doctor. So at 2:52PM we got to see our baby girl.

She weighed 8 pounds 4 ounces, 21 inches tall with blue eyes and light sandy brown hair. Everyone is doing great at home and things are starting to get into a routine...or it's complete chaos and we're deluding ourself. Oh for those wondering, Sela is pronounced See-La.

Ok...I think I'm done...for now...

Crazy week! Aspen got 4 stiches in the head from a fall off the couch, Superstar Mel B DID NOT have the baby yet and ice cream with cherries. Will the madness ever end!!!

Hi Everyone,
We had fun this week with Aspen's birthday party on Sunday. She was wound up for days before the party. As for Melissa, the baby doctor says the baby is head down and baby is "low"
...something is gonna happen real soon! Holy Crap!

We did pretty much nothing for New Years Eve but had a great brunch with friends on New Year's day. Here are some great pictures of us before all hell breaks loose in the next few weeks.
